Service Interface parameters¶

The <parameters> section declares values passed to a target operation. Each <parameter> selects an ontology predicate.

  <parameter predicate="selected_contact" format="grammar_entry" optional="true"/>
</parameters>

Attribute	Meaning
`predicate`	Required ontology predicate whose value is passed.
`format`	Optional; `value` or `grammar_entry`. Selects the frontend argument representation.
`optional`	Optional Boolean indicating the argument may be absent.

HTTP targets receive both semantic value and language-form fields; format selects the argument representation for frontend actions. See Actions, Queries, and Targets.
