Sorts¶

A sort defines the value type used by individuals and predicate arguments.

<sort name="album_name" dynamic="true"/>

name is required. dynamic="true" allows the runtime to introduce individuals of that sort that are not declared statically. XML Boolean values are lowercase true and false.

Tala 31.0.1 includes boolean, integer, real, datetime, string, person_name, image, webview, and domain. Declare custom sorts before referencing them in predicates or individuals.
