Predicates

A predicate names a property and declares the sort of its value.

Attribute Meaning
name Required predicate name.
sort Required value sort.
feature_of Optional parent predicate for a question feature.
multiple_instances Allows multiple values when true.

Predicates are referenced by propositions, questions, conditions, and service parameters. Declare the sort before using it. A predicate with feature_of is used to ask about features of the parent predicate, including in incremental search. See Question parameters.
