<signal_action_completion postconfirm="false"/>

Attributes and placement

Attribute Default Meaning
postconfirm true When false, suppresses the success report move.
action — Optional ontology action to complete instead of the containing goal's action.

The element has no children and can appear in a plan or conditional branch.

Behavior and examples

The containing perform goal is treated as fulfilled. Remaining items in its plan do not execute. By default, the runtime emits a success report of the form report(action_status(action, done)); set postconfirm="false" to suppress it. If action is specified, that action is marked complete instead of the containing plan's action.

<goal type="perform" action="make_reservation">
  <plan>
    <invoke_service_action name="MakeReservation"/>
    <signal_action_completion/>
  </plan>
</goal>

Suppress the report or explicitly target another action:

<signal_action_completion postconfirm="false"/>
<signal_action_completion postconfirm="true" action="some_other_action"/>
