assume_system_belief¶

Adds a proposition to the system's private beliefs. It does not add the fact to shared commitments or ask the user to confirm it.

Attributes and child¶

There are no attributes. The required child is one predicate proposition, whose predicate and value must be declared/valid in the ontology.

Behavior and usage¶

The assumed fact is available to answer a question or supply a later service call, but remains private and does not update shared commitments. This does not invoke a service or a user-defined validator. Use assume_shared to set shared state, or inform to request a user-facing inform.

For example, a resolve goal can answer a quantity question from a known value:

Placement¶

Can appear in a goal plan or postplan, or in either branch of an if.
