Question parameters¶
A <parameters> declaration configures how a particular question is handled. It is keyed by predicate, optionally qualified by question_type.
<parameters question_type="wh_question" predicate="person" source="service"
incremental="true" max_reported_hit_count="10">
<service_query type="wh_question" predicate="person"/>
<ask_feature predicate="person_name"/>
<ask_feature predicate="person_city" kpq="true"/>
</parameters>
Important attributes include:

Children can include service_query, ask_feature, alt, hint, proposition, resolve, perform, related_information, and always_relevant. With source="service", provide a service_query; ask features refine the search. background and graphical_type are not part of the Tala 31.0.1 XML schema.
For child element details, see Ask features, Hints, Service queries, always_relevant, and Alternative choices. The separate plan item invoke_service_query invokes a Service Interface query from a plan.
