Ask features

An <ask_feature> declares a feature predicate to ask about while narrowing an incremental-search question.

Attribute Meaning
predicate Required feature predicate associated with the searched entity.
kpq Optional Boolean. When true, asks whether the user knows the feature value.

The parent question's feature predicates are used to refine the result set; they must be declared in the ontology and associated with the parent predicate via feature_of. Ask features are relevant when question parameters have incremental="true". A service-sourced search also requires a service_query.
