Domain declarations

A DDD domain declares goals and the plans that fulfill them, along with question handling, queries, validation, and relevance relationships. Use the linked entries for construct details; the left menu lists the same references under Domain declarations.

Goal

A goal declares an action for the system to perform or a question to resolve. See Goals.

Plan and postplan

These are ordered sequences of plan items for a goal and its follow-up work. See Plans and postplans and the Plan item index.

Question parameters

Question parameters configure question handling and incremental search. See Question parameters, Ask features, Hints, Service queries, always_relevant, and Alternative choices.

Domain query

Domain queries answer questions with implications, random selection, or enumeration. See Domain queries.

Iterator

Iterators provide named proposition sequences to the iterate plan item. See Iterators.

Domain validator

Domain validators declare acceptable proposition configurations. See Domain validators.

Defaults and dependencies

These declarations set default questions and associate dependent questions. See Default questions and dependencies.

Source formats

Domain declarations can be authored in Domain XML and DDD JSON.
