Author or update a DDD¶

1. Start with DDD source formats to understand the domain, ontology, and service-interface components.
2. Choose Domain XML or DDD JSON.
3. Look up domain declarations and plan items to define dialogue behavior.
4. Define vocabulary in the ontology and application operations in the Service Interface.

Integrate with the runtime¶

• Handler interaction API — client requests, responses, and session handling.
• Pipeline API — orchestration and the Handler hand-off.
• Runtime architecture — component boundaries and request flow.

Understand runtime data¶

• Semantic expressions and moves
• DME information state

DDD syntax and compiler behavior are documented against Tala 31.0.2. Runtime behavior descriptions correspond to Handler 44616a5e34b6, Pipeline 34c971f1aef8, and TDM f555673fec31; deployed behavior may differ. Treat the cross-repository interfaces as coordinated revision contracts, not as implied compatibility from those individual version identifiers.
